VAT / Payroll Manager

With over 13 years’ experience in accountancy practice, I head up our payroll department, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From processing wages and paying HMRC liabilities to setting up and managing workplace pensions, I make sure deadlines are met and nothing slips through the net — no drama, no surprises.


Alongside payroll, I prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and provide comprehensive bookkeeping services using Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and LimeBooks. If it involves keeping numbers organised and systems running efficiently, I’m on it.


Around the office, I’m often (unofficially!) known as the Office Manager — the one who keeps everything in shape and everyone on track. I like things organised, efficient and done properly… though I promise I’m approachable with it. I build strong working relationships with clients so they feel completely confident their finances are in safe hands.


Outside of work, life is just as busy. I’m married with three grown-up children (who still haven’t quite flown the nest!) and I help support my elderly parents. When I do get a moment to myself, you’ll usually find me enjoying a bit of retail therapy — because in my opinion, you can never have too many pairs of shoes.
